The waves of the ocean caressed the cliffside as Lucidus Star sat on the edge, alone, staring at the sunset. The temperature was warm, but not hot, and the breeze almost eased his inner turmoil.

"Are you done being anti-social?" A familair voice asked from behind, breaking the silence.

Lucid turned around to see who had spoken to him. It was Ximena.

"Go away Xim, I'm not in the mood," he sighed.

Ximena, ignoring his attempts to shoo her away, sat next to him. "So, are you going to tell me what's bothering you, or not?"

"Nothing's bothering me," he replied. Lucid knew that Ximena saw straight through that lie, but he still kept up his apathetic disposition.

Ximena sighed. "Well, if you don't want to talk, that's fine, but you're only hurting yourself."

After Lucid refused to respond, Ximena stood up, and walked the other way.

"By the way, Evol, -4, and I are all going to watch a movie later. You're welcome to join us if you want," she cajoled.

"I'll think about it," Lucid replied.

As she ran off into the distance, Lucid turned back to the sunset. He pondered over which was the better choice. Reluctantly, he continued to gaze at the remains of the sunset.

"It doesn't matter," he whispered to himself.
